Summer will be here before you know it, and Dairy Queen is celebrating the upcoming season by giving away a lot of free ice cream.
As a way to promote their summer Blizzard menu, the ice cream chain is offering up a DQ Sweetest Season Pass this summer. The pass is loaded with a whopping $5,000 to spend at Dairy Queen on Blizzards or whatever treats you want!
For your chance at winning one, just head to DQ’s Twitter or Facebook pages now through May 24 to post your favorite Blizzard from the summer menu.

You can enter up to once per day, per platform. The Sweetest Season Pass will be awarded to 20 randomly selected fans once the entry period ends — which means that DQ will be giving away a total of $100,000 worth of ice cream!
As part of the program, DQ will also donate a $5,000 Sweetest Season Pass to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which seems like a nice way to make sure a lot of kids get ice cream treats this summer.
DQ has a summer Blizzards menu with six flavors that “represent the best parts of the season,” according to the press release. Mix-ins for the summer Blizzards range from cookies to fruit and candy. Flavors include mint, chocolate, raspberry and even cotton candy.
For cookie-lovers, you’ll find Girl Scout Thin Mints and frosted animal cookie Blizzards. Chocolate fans will like brownie batter, raspberry fudge bliss and Drumstick with peanuts … which is definitely combining two summertime favorites.
Lastly, for candy fans, the cotton candy Blizzard doesn’t have actual cotton candy but instead blends cotton candy sprinkles into the ice cream.
If you win one, the season pass can be used for any treat you want at DQ.
