TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — ABC27 is focusing our "We're Open, Tallahassee" stories on Takeout Tuesday, showcasing local restaurants that are open for curbside pickup or delivery.
Maria Maria Homemade Mexican Cuisine and Bakery says they're open for curbside, carryout and delivery!
They've only been open for about nine months, and the owner says this has been very challenging, as they were already trying to build clientele.
The owner says they have a positive outlook, and are very thankful for the support they've gotten from family and friends.
"It's very different, very unique," said Edgar Gamez, the owner of Maria Maria. "I want to say we are sticking to our family's recipes, everything from my grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, so we are doing all recipes that are just family oriented that have been within this family for many, many years."
They're asking people to give them a try, as they have a very unique and homemade menu.
Maria Maria is located near the corner of Monroe and 6th Avenue.
