MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A slow transition from full sunshine to partial cloudiness will happen over the rest of the week, as the broad area of high pressure starts to slide more to the east.  The south wind set-up with bring in more moisture from the bay and the gulf, and the weaker nature of the high pressure will permit scattered clouds to form.  Rain will still be generally absent from the region on Thursday, as morning lows start off in the 60° range with limited fog.  Afternoon highs will rise into the upper 80s to around 90° once more, but perhaps not as hot overall with the stronger onshore breeze.  As a disturbance approaches this weekend from the northwest, a few areas of showers or a couple of thunderstorms will be in the outlook.  As of now, it’s not appearing to be a prolonged heavy-rain or severe-weather event.
