MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

There aren't many changes in the pattern for the next couple of days.  If anything, the warmer and dry streak may extend into the weekend, delaying the arrival of any local rain chances until Sunday at the earliest.  However, once a piece of the disturbance reaches the region, periods of heavy rain are possible along with a few thunderstorms.  Until that time, we'll remain mild in the mornings and warm in the afternoons with scattered clouds and ample sunshine.  Lows tonight will fall into the upper 50s and lower 60s.  Fog shouldn't be an issue with a light breeze still expected.  Highs will range from the mid 70s along the Forgotten Coast to the mid 80s in the Suwannee River Valley.  A few more clouds may be present Friday, but rain potential will stay near zero.
