MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Areas of clouds will be persistent around the region tonight through most of Thursday with an active upper-level flow over the Southeast and a cold front sliding into the Deep South.  While clear breaks in the sky will be limited, so will rain chances for Thursday afternoon.  The front will be able to produce a few isolated showers late Thursday through Friday morning, then some clearing will occur as winds become more northerly.  Lows tonight, however, will be milder than average in the middle 50s, and highs may manage to rise about 80° before cloudiness thickens.  The weekend ahead will feature more cloud cover with a upper-level disturbance from the Gulf sliding to the east toward the peninsula and perhaps renewing shower chances near coastal and southeast Big Bend areas.
