MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Southerly winds have helped to reduce the amount of searing heat for the region, producing more clouds and a breeze from the bay and the gulf.  A little more moisture will hold lows up in the upper 60s and lower 70s in north Florida, with mid to upper 60s overnight in south Georgia.  Winds Thursday will vary between south and southeast, which will again make a difference in how high temps climb.  Mid 80s are possible for peak temps at the coast, lower to mid 90s for inland areas west of U.S. 319, and mid 90s for the Suwannee Valley under a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky.  Upper high pressure will weaken and give way to a broader upper low in the Southeast this weekend, which will use available moisture to make showers and storm development easier to achieve.
