Storm Team Tuesday morning forecast (03/05/2013)

and last updated

As Tuesday chugs along, clouds will build in and winds will pick up ahead of an approaching cold front. The south wind is a warming one turning us mild and a little muggy with highs in the low to mid 70s. The front will pass through later this afternoon bringing scattered showers and isolated thunder. A few showers may linger early Wednesday morning for our eastern counties but 90% of Wednesday will be breezy, cool and dry. Lows by the morning drive will be in the low 40s with clear skies. Despite sunny skies Wednesday afternoon, highs will be hard pressed to touch 60°. Winter looks to be making a last-ditch hold on the region with lows in the low to mid 30s and highs in the mid to upper 60s Thursday and Friday. Springtime looks to prevail by the weekend, with highs in the low 70s and lows in the low to mid 40s.
