Storm Team Tuesday morning forecast (4/2/2013)

Posted

It's tough to argue with today's weather set up. A ridge of high pressure is centered just to our north but enough dry hair has nosed in to make things pretty comfortable Dew points, the measure of how much moisture is in the air, are in the 40s and 50s; not even close to humid. Meanwhile, we'll see a good amount of sun that will warm us well into the upper 70s and low 80s. Tomorrow, clouds thicken up in the morning before rain lifts north out of the Gulf Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. Rain will be off and on all day Thursday with downpours being our biggest hazard but a few strong storms still can't be ruled out at this point. An area of low pressure will quickly move east of the region by Friday morning putting an end to the rain. Friday afternoon through the weekend, the dry trend resumes but highs stay comfortable in the 70s.

Be safe and have a great Tuesday!
