MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A typical Summer time pattern sets up again for the work week start as southwest winds help keep the humidity and heat on the rise. An area of disturbed weather will swing through the region this afternoon, enhancing the sea breeze somewhat with rain coverage at 30-40% from the later part of the morning through the afternoon. Expect daytime highs to still be above the mid 90s along inland North Florida and South Georgia. Along the Big Bend coast, forecast highs will be around the lower 90s. Heat index values are expected to e near or above 100 degrees.

Temperatures climb closer to 100 degrees by the end of the week with low chances for storms each day (20-30%).

Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse will have more on your local forecast starting tonight at 5 p.m.
