MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Little change in the weather pattern is expected, with the exception of milder morning temperatures following several days of warming sunshine.  Tonight's low will drop into the low 50s with mostly clear conditions and a light breeze from the southeast.  The persistent, building high-pressure system off the east coast will gain greater support from the upper-level atmosphere to keep most of the region stable and warm.  Highs can range from the mid 70s coast to low 80s interior and mid 80s for the southeast Big Bend away from the coast.  Only scattered clouds are forecast.  The high will keep the area rain-free through Thursday, then a strong low in the far southern Plains will creep northeastward.  Some showers and storms will develop ahead of the system, potentially entering our area as early as Friday afternoon.  Primary rain and thunderstorm impacts are focusing on the weekend.
