Storm Team Tuesday evening forecast (3/19/2013)

Posted

A slight cool down is on the way for your midweek! Some residual moisture sticks around overnight causing lows to only fall near 50 degrees.  Daytime Wednesday there could be some scattered showers especially in the eastern portions of the Big Bend and extreme Southern Georgia, near Valdosta.  These will be light in nature, but best to keep the umbrella handy.  Then we dry off again and Thursday morning temperatures fall into the upper 30s. Though with ample sunshine, we get back up in the mid 60s! By Friday, temperatures moderate again and we wake up in the mid 40s and have daytime highs in the low 70s. On Saturday another frontal system comes into our area bringing scattered rainfall.  South winds allow highs to get into the mid 70s. All the cloud cover and rain will keep us moderated on Sunday with conditions staying in the low 70s. By Monday, we generally clear out and have more mild temperatures near 70 degrees. Tuesday, expect a cool down with temperatures falling back into the mid to upper 60s though moderate sunshine will prevail.
