Storm Team Thursday Morning Forecast (12/5/13)

and last updated

A dense fog advisory will expire after 10 am this morning, and skies will clear shortly after that. High temps today are expected to reach 80 degrees. The record on this day for Tallahassee is 81! We will have a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon with the slight chance of a passing shower. Above average temps will stay with us right through the weekend as a ridge continues to build over the Southeast. A cold front will try to move in on Saturday but stall out and lift to the north shortly after that on Sunday as a warm front. This will only bump our rain chances up to 30% on Saturday and our high will still be around 77 degrees. On Monday a much stronger cold front will finally nudge the ridge over the Southeast and cooler temps will set in, along with some rain showers. Tuesday looks cloudy with showers and a high of 68.  We will dry out by Wednesday afternoon, but our high temps will be about 15-20 degrees cooler than this week, topping out around 66.

Have a great Thursday!
