Posted

If you’re looking for a warm-up, you’re out of luck until this weekend. Chilly and windy conditions will continue through tonight and into tomorrow, as a dry cold front sweeps through the area. We expect low temperatures to fall into the low to mid 20’s, with northerly winds sustained at 10 mph, and gusts up to 25 mph. A hard freeze warning will cover the entire viewing area except for the immediate coast from 1am until 10am ET. A wind chill advisory is also in effect from 10pm this evening until 11am tomorrow morning, with wind chills in the low to mid teens expected. Highs will only reach the low to mid 40’s. A slight warm up is in store this weekend with highs in the low 60’s expected. Skies will remain sunny, until a cold front brings clouds and a chance for showers Sunday night and early Monday. Another blast of dry arctic air will bring chilly conditions, keeping highs in the mid 50’s and lows in the high 20’s.
