Storm Team Saturday evening forecast (05/26/13)

Posted

We are still seeing the dominant effects of the ridge of high pressure that is setting up over our area. Because of this, we are remaining dry and also a touch on the cool side when it comes to the low temperatures. Tonight, expect conditions to cool into the upper 50s. By tomorrow afternoon, highs will rebound to similar conditions as today in the upper 80s with mostly sunny skies. Slowly, our overnight temperatures start to moderate and we see the low 60s for Memorial Day. The rest of your Monday looks rather warm with temperatures getting back to near 90°. As winds shift from the Gulf of Mexico, we have a rather persistent pattern with highs in the low 90s and lows in the mid 60s after that. Wednesday through the end of the forecast period holds the threat of an isolated shower in the afternoon hours.
