TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Rain chances will be returning to us tonight and lasting through Tuesday morning as a series of weak shortwave low pressure systems pass through the region. These low pressure systems will be accompanied by cold fronts, meaning that each day will be a bit cooler than the last.

Tonight, we'll see an increase in cloud cover throughout the region. Light northerly winds will be on hand. Lows will bottom out in the upper 40s to lower 50s for most. Overnight showers are possible, though not likely, and will be limited to the early morning hours.

Sunday, the shower chance will continue, being highest in the morning and afternoon hours. Winds will remain northerly at 5-10 mph. Daytime highs will be even cooler than we felt Saturday, warming to the upper 60s and lower 70s. Sunday night will be similar to what we feel tonight with lows near 50 degrees and cloudy skies.
