Storm Team Monday morning forecast (04/15/2013)

The beginning of your work week looks a little more tranquil and very summer-like too! The front that passed Sunday is stalling out right on top of us, so expect some unsettled cloudiness on Monday with maybe an isolated shower or two throughout the day, but nothing severe.  Highs get warm and sticky in the mid 80s.  The front finally clears on out of here on Tuesday, but winds still remain off the Gulf allowing for a threat of an isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon riding along the sea breeze.  (Did I mention it is going to feel very summery?) Highs get into the upper 80s Tuesday through Thursday and only fall into the mid 60s overnight.  By Friday, we still hold onto the tropical air mass, but it looks like another storm system may be on its way to greet us late Friday and through Saturday afternoon.  Scattered showers and embedded thunderstorms are a possibility. Conditions cool Saturday into the mid 70s as the front passes and then we start to moderate into the upper 70s on Sunday with ample sunshine.
