Storm Team Friday morning forecast (09/23/2016)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Friday ends up similar to Wednesday and Thursday with a high pressure area allowing drier air to intrude from the northeast. This air will provide for a quiet pattern, but isolated showers are still possible, especially the further east you are located. Afternoon high temperatures are expected to once again reach the lower 90s with partly cloudy conditions (rain coverage 20%). Venturing into Friday night, plans to go out shouldn't be hindered by rain. Expect morning lows into Sunday to be in the lower 70s with some spots seeing the upper 60s.

Saturday is similar, with temperatures expected to reach the lower 90s, and isolated showers and storms will be possible (30%). Sunday and beyond, influence from a west cold front may help to increase the rain coverage further, and we could see more rain likely by the time the middle of next week moves in. Afterward, we may see our first slight decrease in temperatures.
