MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Overnight look for the skies to clear and temperatures to fall to a mild 51 degrees. High pressure is dominating the Big Bend region which will allow temperatures to rise a little over average for this time of year. Expect highs in the lower 80s tomorrow with a mix of more sun than clouds. Conditions will remain dry for the majority of the weekend, as Sunday will be nearly a carbon copy of Saturday. Lows will dip down to the mid 50s with highs reaching lower to mid 80s.

Monday brings along an increase in cloud cover, meaning a slight increase in overnight lows. Expect to begin the commute Monday morning with lows only falling into the the lower 60s. The dominant high pressure system will push east, making way for an approaching cold front. Chances of rain will bump up to 40% on Monday, but not before temperatures will reach the mid 80s. Showers will begin making their way into the region later into the afternoon and overnight. Overnight lows will remain mild in the mid 60s with the increased cloud cover and moisture in the area. Look for Tuesday to receive the majority of rain with a 70% chance of showers and possibly even a thunderstorm or two, as the cold front passes through the region. Temperatures will only make their way into the mid 70s.

The rest of the week will be drier and cooler than the start. Mid-day high temperatures will be just slightly below average for this time of year, topping off in the upper 70s, while lows will dip back down into the low to mid 50s. Thursday and Friday will see just a slight, 20% chance for showers.
