(CNN/WTXL) -- Messy weather doesn't take a holiday. While North Florida & South Georgia will be dealing with some messy weather in the coming days ahead of a developing storm system, we aren't the only ones.
In this case, a massive storm system in the Pacific Northwest is surely making holiday travel nightmarish for folks who live in the region and those planning to visit loved ones there.
The jet stream across the Pacific Ocean has pulled a massive layer of moisture which means flooding rains possible for northwestern states (up to 8 inches in some spots). Heavy winds are also a big threat, as well as landslides.
All this after a system struck the Pacific states nearly a week ago. If you are making any plans, make sure to be aware of any potential travel delays as the system tracks across the country.
