MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

With the ongoing effects of high pressure, we’ve maintained full amounts of sunshine, the atmosphere remains rather dry, and temperatures have swung from the 40s in the morning to the 80s in the afternoon.  There’s not much reason to believe Wednesday will be much different.  The ridges of high pressure will stay around for another couple of days, slowly moving to the east and keeping the region shielded from any disturbances or storm systems that may approach.  We will add a bit more moisture with a more-consistent southerly wind setting up for midweek and beyond, and that will eventually support late-week rain chances.  But for tonight, we’ll stay mostly clear with patchy early-morning fog possible and lows in the mid 40s to near 50°.  Maximum temperatures Wednesday will climb back into the 80s, with some mid 80s inland while beaches stay in the 70s.
