Storm Team Thursday evening forecast (12/06/2013)

Posted

The warm and humid regime shows no signs of immediately breaking its hold on the area.  Overnight, scattered clouds and some areas of fog will develop, reducing visibilities in some cases.  Lows will fall to only around 60°.  Another sun-and-cloud mix will be present in the sky above, as daytime temperatures climb back toward the 80° mark.  The Arctic cold front impacting the western two-thirds of the nation will slide slowly toward the southeast, but high pressure in our area will temporarily block its progress, meaning the warmth will stretch for a few more days.  Occasional passing showers may approach at times into the weekend.
