Storm Team Thursday evening forecast (12/19/2013)

Posted

Temperatures have begun to rebound for chilly levels earlier today, to a not-as-cold range for the night ahead.  Though the evening will remain mainly clear, a few thin clouds will float in from the west.  They won’t drastically impact overnight lows, but the southeast wind flow that’s setting up will keep lows from falling too far.  Minimum temps will reach the middle 40s early in the morning.  A few more clouds are expected to blend with the sunshine Friday as additional moisture enters the region from the south.  We won’t have anything worse than a partly cloudy sky, and the rain chance remains basically zero.  Friday’s highs should make their way into the middle 70s.  Warm conditions stretch into the weekend before a cold front slowly enters from the west late Sunday, causing an increase in rain and thunderstorm potential through Monday.  A glimpse at Christmas Day shows fewer clouds and cooler temperatures.
