Storm Team Friday evening forecast (01/17/2014)

Posted

The latest cold front is impacting the region this evening, making steady progress to the east and forming some scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Rain coverage will be brief, and any instances of raindrops will not amount to very much.  Eastern Big Bend counties have the greatest chance for these isolated showers through this evening.  The front will renew the colder and dry trend for the beginning of the weekend, but, much like today, Sunday will encounter a decent warming trend as yet another front approaches.  Lows tonight will range from the upper 20s to mid 30s, and Saturday afternoon will only make it to the lower 50s.  Sunday’s lows may dip to near freezing before reading rebound into the milder 60s.
