TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised for Hurricane Michael Relief in the Panhandle, but there's still work to be done.
That's the message Rebuild 850 is trying to spread more than a year after the storm.
The group is trying to keep attention focused on the region, so it can keep getting help. So far, they've raised over half a million dollars.
But as spokesperson Michelle Ubben says, there is still more work to be done.
"But now we need people to know that the job isn't done, there's so much more that needs to occur. There's investment that needs to happen, and we need people to continue to keep the region foremost in its thoughts and its philanthropy," said Ubben.
