TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –Tallahassee Community College’s Brain Bowl Team recently competed in the National Academic Quiz Tournament held at Chipola College.
The tournament consisted of timed matches in which team members answered questions in the areas of mathematics, science, humanities, literature, history and social sciences.
Team TCC compiled a 4-4 record at the event, posting wins against Florida State College at Jacksonville, Gateway College (A Team and B Team) and Gulf Coast State College. Other schools participating in the event included Chipola and Pensacola State College.
Brian Bowl team members include Cody Johansen, Michael Isasi, Holly Hesoun and John Bilkowitz. Team TCC is coached by Dr. David Proctor, history professor at TCC.
The TCC Brain Bowl Team will be in action again February 8-9 when it competes in the Panhandle Region Brain Bowl Championship, held at Pensacola State College.
