Valentine’s Day is around the corner! If you’re looking for ways to get your kids in the spirit of the holiday, Lowe’s DIY Kids’ Workshops are a special treat. On Saturday, Feb. 8, Lowe’s is offering a workshop where kids can build a Love Note Holder — just in time for the big day.
The Love Note Holder is a cute mailbox with hearts on each side, making it the perfect vessel for school Valentine’s Day cards or for storing special treats. These projects are expected to take 15-30 minutes for your little ones to complete and a parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the workshop.
Check out Lowe’s DIY workshops page to find out if the location near you is holding a kids’ workshop for Valentine’s Day and sign up to attend.
Can’t make it to this one? All sorts of DIY workshops for kids are held at Lowe’s stores on the second Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (registered attendees must arrive by 11 a.m. to participate).
If you’re looking for more crafts to do with your kids, Home Depot also holds kids DIY workshops. On Feb. 1, you can bring your little one to the Heart String Art Workshop from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at some Home Depot locations to create a keepsake heart using string, nails, paint and more.
In addition to their Valentine’s Day craft, kids will receive a free certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
