(CNN) - Three Senate Democrats took a bit of a road trip Tuesday. Their mission? Find the Senate Republican healthcare bill.
Sens. Cory Booker, Chris Murphy and Brian Schatz hosted a three-part Facebook Live "field trip" to the Congressional Budget Office.
Booker said the purpose of the trip was to show how difficult it was to obtain a copy of the healthcare bill.
Democrats and other critics have criticized Republicans for crafting their healthcare plan behind closed doors.
When all was said and done, the three senators never did get a copy of that bill.
But Senate Republicans announced the measure would be released Thursday, ahead of a possible vote by the end of next week.
