(RNN) – When water from Harvey began filling Karen and JC Spencer’s Houston-area home, they called the local Chick-fil-a for two grilled chicken burritos with extra egg and a side order of a boat.
While it's not clear whether they got their burritos, they got their boat.
“Can you believe one of the managers of Chick-fil-a, she sent her husband to pick us up? We are so grateful and so thankful,” JC Spencer told Good Morning America.
They were filling the boat with possessions, deciding what would stay and what would go, when two heroes on jet skis pulled up.
The couple hopped on the jet skis and rode to safety while the boat took care of their stuff.
"Oh well, here we go!" Karen Spencer recalled thinking as she boarded the jet ski.

Rescuers later took JC home to pick up his wallet and wedding ring.
“I couldn’t save my house, but I have to save my marriage,” JC told ABC.
The Spencers said they don't know the names of their jet ski rescuers, but would like to thank them.
