All lanes of Interstate 35 were shut down in Belton on Friday morning after an 18-wheeler caught fire and then exploded with cans of Axe body spray inside.
The driver reported seeing fire in his review mirror, so he pulled into the shoulder and detached the trailer. After the pulled over, the aerosol cans exploded.
Cans of the body spray are scattered across both sides of the interstate. Police say the northbound side may need to be resurfaced.
Belton police said no one is hurt. The driver of the 18-wheeler was able to make it out safely.
Both southbound and northbound traffic was diverted to the access roads near exit 294.
By 8:30 a.m., the southbound lanes have reopened. At 10 a.m., one of the northbound lanes was reopened.
It is not yet known when the highway will fully reopen.
Expect delays if you are driving through this area.
