Seminoles squeak past Auburn, face Nebraska in EA SPORTS, ESPN #UltimateTeam final

(EA Sports) - Today, EA SPORTS and ESPN announced Florida State (11 seed) advanced to the final round by narrowly defeating Auburn (5 seed) by just two percent of votes in the semifinal round, continuing the school’s chance to be named the true Ultimate Team. The #UltimateTeam search began with 16 of the most storied college football programs of the last 25 years, including: Ohio State, Nebraska, FSU, Miami, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida, Texas, Penn State, LSU, Georgia, USC and Auburn. 

With more than 390,000 votes cast so far, Florida State (11), led by team captain Deion Sanders, now must overcome Nebraska (13) for the #UltimateTeam title and fans will need rally behind the Seminoles if they want to see them declared the winner.   

Fans can visit ESPN.com, ESPN Mobile, and the ESPN CFB App to Tweet their votes for their favorite of two finalists using the hashtag '#UltimateTeam'. The finalists will be announced on Tuesday, August 6.
