TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Three Big Bend baseball teams are already in the State Final Four. North Florida Christian is the first to play, when they take on Carrollwood Day in the 3A State Semifinals Wednesday.
The Eagles hit the road Tuesday morning, and the guys say they are excited for the opportunity to play for a State Championship.
"We've been working on this for about three years now, so this was their goal at the beginning of the year," said head coach Mike Posey. "We just have to get down there and stay focused. We've been hungry all year. We had a quick exit last year. There's a little bit older this year. We have a lot of juniors and seniors so they know a little bit more about what it's about."
NFC hits the field at 10 in the morning in the 3A State Semifinal game. If they win, they will play Thursday for the State Championship.
