Both the Miami Marlins and the Philadelphia Phillies have canceled games scheduled for Monday evening as the organizations deal with outbreaks of COVID-19.

The two teams finished up at three-game series on Sunday. Prior to Sunday's game, four Marlins players — including Jose Urena, the team's scheduled starter — tested positive for the coronavirus.

The game went on as scheduled, and the Marlins won 11-6.

After the game, reports emerged that about a dozen Miami players and team officials had tested positive for COVID-19. USA Today reports that 12 Marlins employees have tested positive, while ESPN reports that "at least 14" have caught the virus.

Miami was scheduled to fly home to Miami to begin a series with Baltimore. However, the team is still in Philadelphia as it awaits more test results. In a statement released Monday afternoon, the Marlins said they expect to have those test results later on Monday.

Later on Monday, the Phillies announced that it had postponed their home game against the Yankees, according to The Athletic and MLB Network. It's unclear if any Phillies players or employees had also contracted the virus.

According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Marlins game against the Orioles on Tuesday was also postponed, since the O's left Miami and headed back to Baltimore.

Passan reported that the Marlins will head to Baltimore after staying in Philadelphia to play their scheduled games against the Orioles on Wednesday and Thursday.

There is no word if the Phillies game against the Yankees on Tuesday has also been postponed, ESPN's Pedro Gomez reported.
