TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - On Wednesday night, five Big Bend volleyball teams kicked off postseason play. Just two, Leon and Lincoln survived to see another day.

On Thursday night, six more Big Bend squads hit the court, as Classifications 1A-4A began Regional play with Semifinal action.

In Class 4A, Maclay got a big sweep over Trinity Christian to punch their ticket to next week's Region Final.

The North Florida Christian Eagles were undefeated, a perfect 25-0, entering their 3A Regional Semifinal Thursday against St. Francis. The Eagles took the first set, but the Wolves responded, winning the next three to end NFC's season.

"When we step away from it, we're going to be proud of what we accomplished, but right now our hearts are broken and we're just trying to deal with the losing right now," said North Florida Christian head coach Jodie Price. "To have the opportunity to play on a team like this and have so much fun every day and to even have fun with the student body, it's a great day to be at NFC."

In Class 2A, Community Christian School hosted First Coast Christian, and the Chargers walked away with the big three set win, their first Regional win in the history of the program.

"They have worked so hard, I mean we have been at it for months now and they want it and they're going to go for it," said head coach Nina Gunn-Hall. "We're just along for the ride and we're going to do it. I'm more happy for them that they get to be apart of this and know what it feels like to go this far. Just happy to be here."

CCS will take on Eagle's View in the Region Final next week, who beat Aucila Christian in three sets, 25-23, 25-11, 25-12.

In Class 1A, Sneads is well on their way to a fifth straight State Championship with their three set win over Laurel Hill. Lafayette also won by way of sweep, 3-0 over Crescent City.
