TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — It was nothing but cheers at North Florida Christian on Wednesday as the Eagle baseball team celebrated the signings of three players.
Pitcher Trevor Hanselman is headed to East Tennessee State.
Blake Dincman, a catcher will play for Tulane.
Utility guy James Chorey will suit up for Huntingdon College.
Three talented athletes, all excited to take the next step in their journey.
"It feels like a dream right now, it doesn't really feel real," said Chorey. "It'll probably sink in when I graduate. It's just a great payoff of work and effort and everything."
"It's pretty crazy," Hanselman said. "Still hasn't set in yet, but I'm sure it will pretty soon. Growing up with these guys, they're my best friends. It really meant a lot to sign with them and everybody here."
"It's crazy to think about," said Dincman. "It's been something I've been dreaming about forever, ever since I started playing t-ball and started watching people play on TV. Just a surreal experience."
Congratulations James, Blake, and Trevor!
