TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Maclay outlasted Chiles Monday night on the pitch in a 3-1 win.
Marauders head coach Andy Warner spoke with ABC 27 after the game to recap his weekend as the long-time soccer coach was inducted into the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
“It was mixed emotions. It was a humbling experience sitting down trying to thank every person in a career that has helped, you just keep writing. And I’m very, very fortunate to not only have a great family but supporters from a wonderful school. I can’t tell you what a great environment it is at Maclay. I love Maclay and I love our student-athletes,” said Warner.
Maclay will play at Lincoln High School Thursday night.
