TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — High school football is in play-off mode this week across the Big Bend and South Georgia. Florida High in the Class 3A Regional Finals, and to get to next week's State Final Four, perennial power Trinity Christian stands in the way.

Seminoles head coach Jarrod Hickman said he is confident in his team. They're a battle tested program. Florida High was State Runner-up last season, and they've overcome personal tragedy this season to get here. That experience is what they're counting on Friday night.

"I think you understand what you have to do, you understand the level of which you have to play. This senior class, these underclassmen have played in a lot of playoff games, a lot of playoff moments," he said Wednesday. "I think everything our program's been through, from Cam to Coach Smith, I think the adversity we've been through gives us a chance to go do that. These guys are strong willed. They're very physically and mentally tough. We just have to go play good football, because if you don't do that, it won't matter."

Florida High's game against Trinity Chirsitian is set for Friday night at 7:30 in Jacksonville.
