TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — This week two Big Bend girls basketball teams look to inch closer to Lakeland and the state Final Four, and for FAMU DRS, this is familiar territory.

On Tuesday, the Baby Lady Rattlers hit the road in the regional semifinals, where a win puts them in the Elite Eight and another step closer to their 11th straight state Final Four. DRS won their opening round game by 60 points last week, but they know things will get tougher from here on out.

"It's not going to stay like this. I keep telling them that," said head coach Ericka Cromartie. "Even if there are things we do very well, we still try to find things we aren't doing very well so we can make it into a complete package. The thrill of the moment, the thrill of playing at the highest level is what ti is. They can see that consistently gaem in and game out. It gets them motivated."

DRS travels to Meadowbrook Academy for the 2A regional semifinals on Tuesday. Florida High is the other Big Bend girls team still playing. They travel to Andrew Jackson in Class 3A.
