TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - The Baby Lady Rattlers of FAMU DRS punched their ticket to the State Final Four for the tenth straight time with a Regional title on Friday night.
They're headed back to Lakeland, but unlike the last two years, they're looking to win a State title. Up first? Keswick Christian Wednesday in the 2A Final Four, and head coach Ericka Cromartie is confident her team has hit their stride.
"At this point, it's more about fine tuning, you just want to work on the small things," she said. "It is what it is at this point. We just want to make sure that they're prepared mentally and they carry out what's already been started."
The Baby Lady Rattlers match-up with Keswick Christian is set for a 12 tip-off on Wednesday. If they win, they will play Friday for the Class 2A State Championship at 4:30. Madison County faces Port St. Joe in the Class 1A State Semifinals on Wednesday at 2:00. If they win, they play Friday for the Class 1A State Championship at 7:00.
