LAKELAND, Fla. (WTXL) — The FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers girls basketball team set the tempo early in their FHSAA Class 2A state semi-finals against First Baptist Academy.
Their notoriously lethal full-court press was unstoppable as they rolled to a 66-22 win. Setting themselves up for a shot at redemption after finishing as state runner-ups in last year's tournament.
“We just want a different outcome. You know we’re grateful to be here but we don’t want the same outcome as last time," said FAMU DR-S head girls basketball coach Ericka Cromartie.
