LAKELAND, Fla. (WTXL) — In Florida, FAMU DRS is the lone girl's team standing. The Baby Lady Rattlers are just one win away from the program's seventh overall state championship.

It'll be a grind to get it. The Baby Lady Rattlers face Miami Christian in Saturday morning's Class 2A state championship game. Head coach Ericka Cromartie said she is impressed with their opponent. She said they're a well-coached and patient team. She's confident in her team though and said this title will come down to who wants it the most, and after falling short the past few seasons, her team wants it bad.

"I think they're excited. I think some of them are anxious, which is normal," she said Friday. "For the most part, they're excited and they want to win. Like I said, we're grateful to be in this situation, we're grateful to be down there, but we want to come back with some hardware this time."

Saturday's Class 2A state championship game is set for a 10 a.m. start.
