TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - We're about midway through the regular season for high school volleyball teams in Florida, and for Community Christian School in Tallahassee, 2019 couldn't be off to a hotter start.

The Chargers are a perfect 10-0 to start the year, and they're a team that boasts just three seniors, but they're seniors who have embraced a leadership role. They are also a group that remembers a disappointing end to last season following an Elite Eight appearance their sophomore year, and they're ready to keep rolling as the season continues.

"Our athletes hear all the time, oh Community Christian, you're such a small school, and I try to tell them, girls, do not give into that," said head coach Nina Gunn-Hall. "You work just as hard as these big schools do. You're just as good! I think just year after year of them hearing that and you work that hard, now it's starting to stick with them. It's been exciting."

The Chargers return to action on Thursday when they travel to Thomasville.
