CAIRO, Ga. (WTXL) — Cairo High School was home to one of the top punters in the country this season. On Thursday, Noah Jones signed with his dream school, Georgia, where he'll showcase his talents for at least the next three years.

Jones will enroll early to get a leg up on the competition. He said he's ready to get up to Athens and get to work, even if the realization he's a college athlete is still sinking in.

"It's definitely an unreal experience," he said of signing. "It's always been a dream of mine, and just to see it come through to reality is unreal to me. To be able to play college football and to the school, I've always wanted to go, it's definitely been an unreal experience."

Jones said he plans to study accounting.
