TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The North Florida Christian football team is holding practice again, hungry to avenge some of last season's losses.

We're checking in with the Eagles for our Friday Night Overtime Camp Chat.

NFC is lead by a group of a dozen seniors. Five of those seniors will start on the offensive line, something head coach Steve Price is hopeful will make a big difference for this team.

The biggest thing for this team is their thankfulness that they're playing.

They feel like they have a lot to prove. The Eagles lost some games last season they felt they could have won and they're ready to prove that this fall.

"It's been a whole different kind of mindset, even when we were able to work out this summer for those couple weeks," said Steve Price, the head football coach at North Florida Christian. "I think the kids just know that we're blessed to be able to do this."

"We had a couple games that we kind of gave away and we felt we should have won," said CJ Simon, a North Florida Christian senior. "We get to finish what we started. We obviously had some ups and downs but I know all the seniors in this group and everyone else on this team is ready to work. We'll see how this year will go."

The Eagles open the 2020 season at home against Jefferson County on September 11.
