TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Days after Hurricane Michael swept through the Big Bend, people are still in need of basic need.

That's where the Second Harvest of the Big Bend comes in.

Early Sunday morning at the Second Harvest of the Big Bend warehouse, trucks lined up around the building to pick up food and water to be delivered to 27 churches within Jackson, Gadsden, Gulf, Liberty, and Calhoun County.

FSU athletes representing football, basketball, soccer and swimming and diving showed up bright and early to give all of the volunteers a helping hand.

The Noles sought to make a difference and more than 50 trucks were packed full with supplies to assist the victims of Hurricane Michael.
