NICEVILLE, Fl. (WTXL) - The State Tournament tipped off Wednesday night for the Tallahassee Community College men's basketball team, and the 12th ranked Eagles handled State College of Florida to move on to the Semifinals.
"The first game in the tournament's the toughest," said head coach Zach Settembre. "We had some jitters and some nerves we had to work out, but really pumped up for our program as a whole. So grateful and so thankful for our team's commitment to doing things the right way even when things weren't going well. That's ultimately why we're one of the last four teams standings in the best Region in the country in junior college."
Tallahassee plays Friday in the Semifinals.
