Orlando Adams' third-inning grand slam helped Tallahassee Community College to a 7-4, game two win over Chattahoochee Valley (Ala.) Community College in the rubber game of the teams' three-game series at Eagle Field.
Chattahoochee Valley won the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, 7-1, to even the three-game series at a game apiece. The Eagles won the series opener, 5-4 in 10 innings, on Friday evening.
Adams' homer erased a 3-1 deficit and put the Eagles in front to stay. He later added an RBI-double in the fifth and finished 2-for-3 with five RBI in game two.
Nolan Daniel (1-0) picked up the win in relief of starter Matt Boynton, who left with an injury after facing just one batter. Daniel pitched three innings and Corey Yawn knocked out the final four for his first save.
In game one, Jordan Armstrong threw a complete game in the Pirates' 7-1 victory.
The Eagles scored their only run in the second when Cyrus Grimes reached on a fielder's choice, allowing Adams to come home from third.
Zane Stephens (2-1) was tagged with the loss.
Trent Jeffcoat had two of the Eagles' four hits.
Tallahassee will host St. Johns River State at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
