THOMASVILLE, Ga. - WTXL — If you're a fan of Thomasville High school boys basketball then you must be starting to feel some 2018 vibes with this year’s squad. After a dominating win over Woodville-Tompkins Saturday night, the Bulldogs now shift their focus to the GHSA class AA elite eight.

Amidst a season where no game is ever a guarantee, head coach Ben Tillman says his guys are playing like there’s no tomorrow. Putting trust into one another to go out each night and get the job done. It’s that mindset combined with the familiarity many of these players have with late playoff basketball, that has this group locked and loaded for Rabun County.

“I think these kids are locked in and excited about playing when we get opportunities during a pandemic to continue to play. I mean that’s just a blessing," said Tillman. "Who knew that we were going to be here playing against anybody in the state playoffs. It’s just such a blessing to be able to come out and play and do what you’d normally do.”
