TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Friday that Saturday's Florida State at Wake Forest football game has been canceled.
Earlier Friday, the ACC said Florida State informed them of a positive COVID-19 test, subsequent quarantining, and contact tracing resulting in FSU having an insufficient number of available offensive linemen, per the ACC's COVID-19 game discontinuation considerations.
It's unclear if the game will be rescheduled.
Friday’s announcement is the Seminoles’ fourth cancellation of their 2020 football season. This cancellation also marks the end of FSU’s regular season, resulting in a 3-6 record in head coach Mike Norvell’s first season with the Seminoles.
