GAINESVILLE, Fl. (WTXL) - Florida State Volleyball left Tallahassee Tuesday after practice to head to Gainesville for the first round of the NCAA tournament. The Seminoles found out where they were seeded in the 64-team tournament. They will be in the same bracket pool as Florida, with UCF being the Noles first match Thursday afternoon.

Two seniors lead the way for the Seminoles this year. Madison Sullivan, a libero, and Payton Caffrey, a strong outside hitter.

For Sullivan, who has been with Florida State since she was a freshman, she knows what it feels like to get a win at the NCAA tournament. However, she hasn't tasted a win since she was a freshman. "I'm itching to do it again. I want these girls to know what it feels like to win an NCAA game," explained Sullivan.

Caffrey, on the other hand, still does not have an NCAA victory under her belt. The outside hitter played at West Virginia her freshman and sophomore seasons before coming to Tallahassee her junior year. She never won an NCAA tournament match while at UWV which is something she hopes will change come Thursday. "I want to get my first NCAA tournament win," said Caffrey. "Maddo and I just want everyone to just be locked in and not play for us but everyone, everyone on the team, the coaching staff, all the support system that we have. You have people say, 'play for the seniors' but for Maddo and I, it's nothing like that."

First serve for Florida State-UCF is set for Thursday in Gainesville at 4:30 EST.
