TALLAHASSEE — Florida State women’s basketball have missed out on their first two games of the season. The Seminoles were supposed to host rival Florida today but that game was postponed on Friday.
Earlier in the week FSU also had to cancel their season opener against Florida A&M as the Rattlers opted-out of the 2020 season. It’s been a challenging season so far for the Seminoles and interim head coach Brooke Wyckoff but they’re taking things in stride with the hope that come December 6th, they’ll finally be able to hit the court against Austin Peay.
“These poor players have been such troopers. Our team like I’ve said on other calls they’ve been so going with the flow and doing what they’re asked to do that day," said interim head coach Brooke Wyckoff. "Whether they want to or not and they’ve practiced a lot without any scrimmages or exhibition games to break it up. So that’s what we’re looking forward to, is just finally being able to play somebody else besides ourselves.”
The women will tip off Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Donald L. Tucker Center.
